JVC TH-BC1 and TH-BC3 Soundbar Home Theater Systems

At the CES 2011, JVC introduces two new surround soundbar home theater system, the TH-BC1 and TH-BC3 designed to complement today’s high definition displays. The BC1 and BC3 soundbars feature 60-watt (30 watts per channel) output, two-channel SRS StudioSound HD and built-in FM tuner. They have analog input and two digital audio inputs (optical and coaxial) and a subwoofer pre-out.

The JVC TH-BC3 adds a push-open dock for iPod/iPhone for playback and charging. It has two HDMI 1.4 inputs and one HDMI 1.4 output with HDMI CEC connectivity, 3D ready video pass through, stand by pass through and ARC (Audio Return Channel), as well as a composite video output for enjoying movie via iPod/iPhone.

The TH-BC1 and TH-BC3 soundbar systems will be released in Janaury for $149.95 and in February for $249.95, respectively.

Samsung SyncMaster 7 Series and 9 Series 3D LCD Monitors

Samsung SyncMaster adding to its portfolio, the new Series-7 and 9 of the series and 3D LCD HDTV / Monitor Combo. After that, this series contains seven 23-inch S23A750, S23A950 S27A750 27-inch and 9-series has S27A950 23-inch and 27 inch. There are also T23A750 23-inch and 27-inch HDTV monitor T27A750 T23A950 T27A950 models. Round 9 has a stylish design and offers a asymmetric look clean and modern, while the 7 Series design Sport Samsung Touch color signature that contains only one color accents on the bezel for an elegant look and display.

All models are based on TN-LCD, and Samsung is based on a 3D engine from Samsung features 3D viewing of images. They can be analyzed automatically and the content in real-time 2D to 3D did not support the contents of the PC, but also content from Blu-ray players, game consoles and set-top box. Round 7 and 9 have a series 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution, a contrast ratio of 1000:1, response time of 2 ms, field of view 170/160-degree.

The 7-Series offers HDMI and DisplayPort, and 9 Series adds dual-link DVI. HDTV / monitor models (T23A750, T23A950, T27A750, T27A950) and a USB 2.0, component input, composite input, Ethernet LAN port and 7 W speakers with Dolby Digital, DTS and SRS TheaterSound HD 2.0, 3D sound support. Samsung will release these permits 3D LCD HDTV / Monitor Combo in March 2011.

Samsung BD-D6700 and BD-D6500 3D Blu-ray Players with WiFi

Samsung has brought two more 3D Blu-ray players to the CES 2011, the BD-D6700 and BD-D6500, both support 3D Blu-ray playback, 3D conversion and Full HD upconversion. They also include Ultra Fast Play, One Foot Connection, DLNA certification and integrated WiFi connectivity for access to online content.

The Samsung BD-D6700 has two HDMI ports, one HDMO 1.4 for 3D and one HDMI 1.3. Smart Blu-ray function is also included in both players. The BD-D6700 and BD-D6500 have a slim design, and the former comes with a silver finish while the latter has a glossy black casing.

Dell ST2220T Multitouch IPS LCD Display

Dell releases its 21.5-inch ST2220T multitouch LCD display based on IPS LCD panel. The multitouch monitor features 1920×1080 Full HD resolution, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 50,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 250cd/m2 brightness, 8ms GTG response time and wide 178/178-degree viewing angle. The display can show 16.7 million colors.

The Dell ST2220T supports optical touch technology and works with Windows 7′s multitouch gestures. It has VGA, DVI-D, HDMI inputs and a 3-port USB hub. The Full HD multiotuch monitor also provides flexible tilt angles allowing you to determine the best view for you. Dell is selling the ST2220T for $309.99.

McIntosh MCD1100 SACD/CD Player with Sabre32 Reference Audio DAC

McIntosh is launching the new MCD1100 disc player that supports CD, CD-R, CD-RW, SACD, Hybrid SACD, MP3 and WMA stereo music discs. It is equipped with the ESS’s Sabre32 Reference Audio D/A Converter (ES9018), which can also be found in OPPO’s BDP-95 Universal 3D Blu-ray player. The player is built on a rigid aluminum die-cast mechanism base with aluminum die-cast tray and a 3D front panel.

The McIntosh MCD1100 features advanced digital laser servo motor to yield quieter and the most accurate positioning of the twin laser optical pickup, and allows for optimum reading of the disc. It is designed to drive power amplifiers directly, delivering performance comparable to the finest stereo preamplifier. The SACD/CD player also include USB Audio digital input that allows convenient access to music stored or streamed from external storage device and a computer.

The McIntosh MCD1100 is priced at $10,000.

NEC MultiSync EA232WMi IPS LCD Display Coming to the US

NEC going to release the MultiSync EA232WMi Full HD IPS LCD display in the US market, which is designed for corporate, financial, healthcare, engineering, CAD and other professional applications. The 23-inch IPS LCD display features 1920×1080 Full HD resolution, LED backlighting, 25,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio. It offers VGA, DVI-D and DisplayPort inputs and an integrated 4-port USB 2.0 ports.
The NEC EA232WMi includes ambient light sensor and ECO Mode to further help save energy and prolong product life. It comes with a fully adjustable stand with 110mm height-adjust, tilt, swivel and pivot. Coming in January 2011, the price will be $299.
