OPPO BDP-95 Universal 3D Blu-ray Player with Sabre32 Reference DAC


OPPO is launching a new flagship universal audiophile 3D Blu-ray player featuring ESS Technology’s Sabre32 Reference 8-channel Audio DAC (ES9018). The Sabre32 Reference “is the world’s best performing 32-bit audio DAC solution targeted for high-end consumer applications and professional studio equipment,” and supports supports either 8-channel or stereo conversion from a digital audio input (up to 500kHz sampling rate) in PCM, DSD or SPDIF formats, features click-free soft mute, volume control, de-emphasis, programmable zero detect, per-channel customizable roll-off filter characteristics and consumes less than 100mW.


As a universal player, the OPPO BDP-95 supports Blu-ray, Blu-ray 3D, DVD, DVD Audio, Super Audio CD (SACD), HDCD, Kodak Picture CD discs as well AVCHD, MP4, DivX, MKV, FLAC, WAV media formats. It is also ready for Netflix instant streaming. The BDP-95 incorporates Marvell’s Kyoto-G2 video processor with the second generation Qdeo technology to deliver clear and noise-free images and supports Full HD output, True 24p video and DVD upscaling.

The OPPO BDP-95 Universal 3D Blu-ray Player has dual HDMI 1.4 outputs as well as USB ports and eSATA port for external storage and RS232 control port. It also include Ethernet RJ45 port and wireless-N adapter for internet connection.
